Frequently Asked Question

How can I export from MS Word to CorelDraw 2019?
Last Updated 5 years ago

In Word:

  • Set shapes, lines and curves to 0 pts
    • If you were not careful when creating the shapes, you can select them all using the selection pane and set the thickness of all of them at once.
  • Note page size
  • Choose file->export from word
  • Choose create PDF/XPS and save the PDF file

In CorelDraw 2019:

  • Choose import text as curves (otherwise, Hebrew will be reversed)
  • Choose Print
  • 0.25pt has worked in the past
  • Open the PDF file you exported from word
    • On the General tab:
      • Use the gear icon near the printer selection to choose the custom settings for the job.
      • L-Solution page size should not be smaller than the page size of the file you exported from word or it will cut off.
    • Color Tab:
      • Color conversions: L-Solution
      • Choose printer L-Solution
